The Interamnia World Cup is one of the largest and longest running international handball tournaments - since July 1973. In 2002, the IHF was named "the world's most important youth handball tournament". On average, 42 countries/year participate in it. The Interamnia World Cup was attended by more than 54% of all countries in the world and more than 74% of all countries where handball is played and trained.
